Defender Rodrigo Becao is fired up ahead of Udinese’s tough Serie A clash against Inter this afternoon.

The Bianconeri have had a great start to the season and they’ve won their last four consecutive outings heading into today’s game against the Nerazzurri, giving them strong momentum and heaps of confidence. Udinese will be keen to pull off the upset at the Dacia Arena, something Inter coach Simone Inzaghi will be desperate to avoid.

Speaking to UdineseTV, Becao first discussed the strong atmosphere present in the Udinese dressing room ahead of the game against Inter.

“This is our Udinese, we must never change identity. We know it in the locker room, the coach asks us to.

“Against the big teams, against the small teams, we don’t care, we have to try to score as many points as possible and today will be no different.”

The 26-year-old Brazilian defender then commented on the qualities of Inter and how they motivate the Bianconeri.

“We know the quality of Inter but we’re at home and we’ll try to win. Their attack is made up of very strong players, but it’s nice to play against opponents like that.

“You have to be more careful and it motivates you even more to perform well.”

Udinese’s strong start to the season means they sit fourth in the Serie A table after the opening six games, picking up 13 points from four wins and a draw. An upset over Inter today would prove to the team that anything is truly possible ahead of a long campaign.
