Pierpaolo Marino assures Udinese “won’t sell anyone” in January, not even cash in on the “world-class” Rodrigo de Paul while his stock is high.

De Paul has been linked with a move to Inter this winter after some impressive performances in 2019-20, but Marino is adamant he will continue to show his quality at Udinese.

“This year he has only shown 50 percent of his potential during the games,” the club’s technical director told Radio24.

“In training, however, we have seen that he’s a champion. He is a starter for Argentina, a team full of players worth at least €50m.

“It all depends on the requests that arrive. He’s a world-class player, we’ll see.

“The club was been very generous to us by not letting him go for some substantial offers during the summer.

The Argentina attacker has two goals and two assists in 14 appearances for the Zebrette this season.
