Udinese chief Gianpaolo Pozzo is surprisingly looking forward to the Champions League test against Arsenal.

The Bianconeri's European Cup dream is in danger of coming to a quick end this term after today being paired with the Premiership giants.

Although Pozzo admits that he would have preferred to avoid the London club, he seems to have taken the tie in his stride.

"I would have rather played against Benfica, but we'll take the draw philosophically," the Stadio Friuli patron told Sky Sport Italia.

"It's a stimulating challenge. It's like going to New York for the first time. The more fascinating the opposing club is, the more effort our players will give.

"There is the possibility of going out against a big club, but playing Arsenal is the right reward for such a splendid campaign last term.

"If we beat Arsenal then it would be an historic event and there would also be a special present for the players."

The winners of the two legged tie will go through to the group stages of the Champions League. The losers will drop down into the Europa League.
