Udinese midfielder Sandi Lovric warns Napoli that the Bianconeri ‘want to win’ on Thursday when the Partenopei could put their hands on a long-awaited Serie A title.

The Partenopei were held to a 1-1 draw by Salernitana on Sunday and were forced to postpone their title celebrations.

They’ll have another chance shortly as a draw away at Udinese on Thursday will be enough to win the Scudetto. They could celebrate even earlier if their closest opponent Lazio don’t beat Sassuolo at the Stadio Olimpico on Wednesday.

“We know the situation, but we have only one thing in mind: we want to win. It doesn’t matter if Lazio will win or lose, we want to give our all to win in front of our fans,” Lovric told Udinese TV.

“We talk to each other and we know these games are important to reach our target, we know we can make it.”

Udinese sit 13th in Serie A, 13 points below 7th-placed Atalanta and 15 above the relegation zone.
