Boulaye Dia’s agent reveals Napoli are interested in the Salernitana striker and so are Premier League and Ligue 1 clubs.

The Senegal international ruined Napoli’s title celebrations on Sunday by scoring a late equaliser at the Stadio Maradona, which prevented the Partenopei from celebrating their first Serie A title in 33 years with six games to spare.

His agent Frederic Guerra confirmed interest from the Serie A leaders in his latest interview with Kiss Kiss Napoli.

“I have Napeolitan roots. My father is from Afragola, so I’d have preferred to see Dia score two goals and Napoli win 3-2,” he admitted.

“I still know nothing about Dia’s future at Salernitana. First of all, the club must gain survival, which hasn’t happened yet,” the agent continued.

“We have to wait and then discuss a transfer and all the rest.”

Dia joined Salernitana on loan with an option to buy from La Liga side Villarreal last summer. The Granata can make his move permanent for €12m at the end of the season.

“For now, I can say nothing because Salernitana are not sure about playing in Serie A next season,” continued Guerra, who was also questioned about Napoli’s interest in his client.

“[Napoli director Cristiano] Giuntoli is following him, but he has plenty of admirers, also from England and France,” the agent concluded.

Salernitana still aren’t mathematically safe but are seven points above the relegation zone in Serie A with only six games remaining.

Dia, 26, is their best scorer this season, with 12 goals in 29 Serie A appearances.
