Luca Vido was again the hero as Italy Under-21s earned an impressive 1-0 friendly victory away to Serbia.

The Azzurrini were held to an unlucky 1-1 draw by their Norwegian counterparts last week and made numerous changes to the starting XI in Novi Sad.

While Vido scored within moments of coming off the bench in the Norway game, here the Atalanta-owned striker led the way from the beginning.

He got the only goal of the game on 51 minutes, controlling a Depaoli cross from the right and blasting in with his right foot.

Alberto Cerri should’ve made it 2-0 soon after, but failed to make the most of a defensive error, blasting over the bar.

Saponjic drilled just wide and a last-minute Radonjic free kick went off target.
