“The Argentinian midfielder picked up the injury from an opponent in Sunday’s match against Bologna. The realistic prognosis is around 15 days.”

Fortunately for Luciano Spalletti’s side, their next match against Atalanta is 12 days away, due to the international break.

Paredes could therefore return to face Viktoria Plzen in the Europa League on November 24.
