Udinese have decided to extend their contract with Coach Igor Tudor after he helped them secure safety.

The 41-year-old tactician had also taken over last term for the final four rounds, but walked away after talks over their future plans broke down.

He returned to replace sacked Davide Nicola in March on a short-term deal and steered them away from the drop zone with five wins, three draws and only two losses.

A meeting was held today between Tudor and Udinese bosses, with the decision made to add another year to his contact, now expiring in 2020.
