Igor Tudor admits he has been “burnt” by Udinese’s poor start to the season but believes tomorrow’s clash with Verona “is an opportunity to redeem ourselves.”

Udinese began the season with victory over Milan but have gone on to lose their last three games, including a 1-0 home reverse to newly-promoted Brescia at the weekend.

“It’s an opportunity to redeem ourselves after our test on Saturday,” Tudor said at a Press conference.

“I’m glad we’re playing right away because when you’re in a situation like ours, it’s better to get straight back on the field.

“It’s true that we didn’t create much against Brescia. We didn’t shine so much, but I don’t agree that it was a game to lose. It was a 0-0 affair.

“It happens when you have big players missing. I’m sorry because in these four games, we deserved more than three points. That’s what burns me.

“Now we have to pick up a result, get some points on the table and bounce back right away.”
