Tottenham Hotspur defender Kieran Trippier said their Champions League exit to Juventus was “a difficult one to take.”
Spurs had fought back from 2-0 down to draw 2-2 in Turin, but after Son Heung-Min’s opener at Wembley, Gonzalo Higuain and Paulo Dybala struck twice in under three minutes to win 2-1.
“We had a lot of chances in the first half and put in a great performance. It's a difficult one to take,” Trippier told BBC Radio 5 Live.

“We wanted to come out fast in the second half, but they killed the tempo out of the game.”
