It’s reported that clubs interested in Dusan Vlahovic may have to pay at least €75m to secure his services and up to €8m-a-year in wages.
Fiorentina President Rocco Commisso spoke about the striker’s future in an interview with the Financial Times where he asked Vlahovic to ‘give recognition’ to Fiorentina.
The 21-year-old sees his contract expire in June 2023 and has rejected a contract extension offer from the club.
According to the Financial Times, Vlahovic has requested a new €8m-a-year contract, the same amount reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport less than two weeks ago.
Vlahovic has snubbed Fiorentina’s €4m-a-year contract and director Joe Barone has recently revealed that the striker’s agent has doubled his wages demands.

The striker’s agents have also asked to receive fees worth 10 per cent of any future transfer fee from both Fiorentina, while the Tuscans’ asking price for the Serbia international is €75m.
Arsenal have placed two formal bids to sign the striker in January, but Vlahovic doesn’t want to leave the Stadio Artemio Franchi in January.
Vlahovic is Serie A’s leading scorer with 16 goals in 20 appearances this season and was Europe’s second most prolific striker in 2021.
Several top clubs are closely monitoring the Fiorentina star: Juventus, Inter, Atletico Madrid, Manchester City, Tottenham and Arsenal have been linked with securing his services, but according to Football London, the 21-year-old has told his closest friends that he would prefer to stay in Serie A over a move abroad.
