Roma captain Francesco Totti isn’t sure he’ll retire at the end of the current season – “if I’m feeling good then why stop?”

The Giallorossi legend turned 40 earlier this year, and his playing contract only runs until the end of the current campaign.

It had been expected that he would then hang up his boots, but Er Pupone says that’s not a guarantee.

“Nothing is obvious in football,” Totti said in an interview with Sky, the entirety of which will be broadcast tomorrow.

“I was taken for finished last year, something that happens a lot in this line of work, especially when things aren’t going the right way. Everyone is free to say what they think though.

“I have faith in my head and my body, I can still give a lot and if I’m feeling good then why stop?”
