The Giallorossi icon retired from playing at the end of last season and is now a director at the Stadio Olimpico club.

He was present in Bergamo this afternoon to watch Eusebio Di Francesco’s side beat Atalanta 1-0, a free-kick by Aleksandar Kolarov proving the difference.

And the one-club man confessed that playing no part in proceedings is proving a nerve-wracking experience.
