Francesco Totti is expected to hold a Press conference on Monday to announce his departure from Roma.

The club icon was given a role within the administration after his retirement in the summer of 2017 and is under contract through to June 2021.

However, he has become increasingly distanced from the hierarchy and President Jim Pallotta since director of sport Monchi resigned in March and Coach Eusebio Di Francesco was fired.

President Pallotta confirmed he offered Totti the role of technical director, but “if Francesco needs time, we’ll give him time.”

However, it seems as if Er Pupone has already made up his mind and will announce his exit in a Press conference at the Stadio Olimpico on Monday.

With Daniele De Rossi released from his contract this month, there are now very few representatives of homegrown stars at Roma.
