The Giallorossi are 14 points behind Juventus, albeit with tonight’s game in hand, so it’s believed that Rudi Garcia may decide to concentrate on European competition, resting Totti tonight.

Ashley Cole is expected to be given a start on the left-side of defence, in preference to Jose Holebas, while Seydou Ketia will replace Daniele De Rossi.

Probable Roma team to face Sampdoria: De Sanctis; Torosidis, Yanga-Mbiwa, Astori, Cole; Florenzi, Keita, Pjanic; Ljajic, Iturbe, Gervinho.
