Francesco Totti “hopes to add more trophies” in his 25th consecutive season as a Roma player.
The captain signed a contract extension to continue playing even after his 40th birthday in September.
“This is a special training camp, as it is the 25th in a row with the same shirt,” Totti told Roma TV.
“I don’t know how many players have done that. It makes me proud, as from childhood I always dreamed of wearing just one club jersey and I achieved it.

“I’ve been through so many jerseys, but ultimately they are always the same, they are always the shirt of Roma.
“When I look back, I see many wonderful things and the trophies we won together, even if some say they aren’t enough. I hope to add more trophies and am at the disposal of the Coach.
“When I am needed, then I will be at the team’s disposal, just as I always have been.”
Totti had issues with Luciano Spalletti, but those seem to be behind them.
“We work hard with Spalletti, so this is a different atmosphere to other year. With a smile and dialogue, we can all work happily together.
“Kevin Strootman is a reinforcement for the squad. He’s a fundamental player, a leader on the field and off, as he doesn’t even want to lose a training ground routine.”
