Reports suggest Francesco Totti won’t be offered a new Roma contract, despite his heroics last night.

The Giallorossi legend came off the bench on 85 minutes with Luciano Spalletti’s side 2-1 down to Torino and promptly scored twice to win the match.

Er Pupone also scored the equaliser against Atalanta at the weekend, as well as assisting an equaliser against Bologna the week before.

However, Sky reports that his recent form has done nothing to convince President James Pallotta to offer his captain a new contract, and the offer will remain just a directorship role.

Given that Totti wants to keep playing, that could see him move to MLS at the end of the season, or even NASL, with the New York Cosmos said to be interested.
