Antonio Conte’s recent outburst at Tottenham is another sign of his imminent departure from the club, something the squad already expect to happen.

The 53-year-old Italian coach was absolutely enraged following Spurs’ 3-3 draw with Southampton on the weekend, a game where they were 3-1 up at one point before sloppily conceding two goals to leave them with a point.

Conte did not hold back when speaking to the media, accusing the players of being selfish and not having the fire in their hearts. His words divided Tottenham fans, with some agreeing with the tactician and others hoping for his exit to be brought forward.

Sky Sports details how the Tottenham squad believe that Conte will not be their coach next season, with his accusations of selfishness to the media frustrating the players.

The Italian coach did explain to the Spurs board that his words were aimed at the squad and not the club’s management, but regardless he could soon find himself out of a job, with the international break giving Daniel Levy time to consider the club’s options.
