Previously linked with Cesare Prandelli and Louis van Gaal, with the latter encouraging speculation himself, the Corriere dello Sport suggest Spurs have taken their decision and gone for Allegri.

The 46-year-old, who was sacked by Milan in January and replaced with Clarence Seedorf after a difficult opening half to the season, has apparently reached agreement to take over from July 1.
It is alleged that the former Cagliari technician, who won the Scudetto in his first year at Milan in 2011, has been in London in recent weeks and has already agreed financial terms with Tottenham.
Current Spurs technical director Franco Baldini is seen as having pushed for Allegri’s appointment.
Allegri, who is believed to have been learning English in recent months too, is also speculated as set to bring with him to White Hart Lane Mauro Tassotti. The retired defender’s current contract as assistant Coach at Milan ends in the summer and any exit would end a 34-year association with the Rossoneri.
