Multiple reports in Italy claim Lazio are pushing to get Sergio Reguilon from Tottenham but can only loan the defender if Spurs pay part of his salary.

Sky Sport Italia and Sportitalia confirm that Lazio are working on getting the Tottenham left-back on loan but can only afford his signature if Tottenham pay part of his salary. Transfer expert Alfredo Pedullà claims the defender has two more offers on the table.

Negotiations between Lazio and Tottenham are ongoing and the Serie A side have made clear that they need help from the North Londoners to sign the left-back who is not in Antonio Conte’s plans.

Il Corriere dello Sport was the first media outlet in Italy to report Lazio’s interest in Reguilon earlier this week.

The Rome-based paper reported on Wednesday that Nottingham Forest are also interested in the 25-year-old, but Reguilon would prefer to join the Biancocelesti, so he is waiting for an official offer from Maurizio Sarri’s side.

Reguilon has made 20 competitive appearances under Antonio Conte at Tottenham, where his contract expires in 2025.
