According to Il Corriere dello Sport, Tottenham defender Sergio Reguilon is tempted to join Lazio and has put talks with Nottingham Forest on hold.

The Spanish defender is not on Antonio Conte’s plans in North London and is expected to leave the club this summer.

Nottingham Forest reportedly want to sign the 25-year-old and have already made an offer to Tottenham, but Lazio are also interested and according to the Rome-based paper, Reguilon prefers a move to the capital.

The Biancocelesti want to get the player on loan until the end of the season with part of his €3.5m-a-year salary paid by Spurs.

Claudio Lotito has changed his stance on the signing of a new left-back. According to the report, he no longer wants to wait for Elseid Hysaj’s sale but could still get Reguilon once Francesco Acerbi joins Inter on loan.

Reguilon has three years left in his contract with Tottenham. He has played 67 games and scored two goals in North London.
