Torino President Urbano Cairo admits they face a tough task against Juventus, but “we’re not sixth by chance”.

The Derby della Mole is Saturday night’s big game, with the Granata hosting their city rivals at the Stadio Grande Torino.

“We’re not sixth by chance, despite some points thrown away along the road,” Cairo told Tuttosport.

“That’s down to us and also some decisions which penalised us. I’d say the important thing is to maintain maximum concentration and the desire to do well.

“We need to prepare well all week and go on the pitch with the desire to show that Toro is a team with quality and solidity, which we’ve already shown.

“We’re in good form, but now we have a very difficult game against a Juve who have won all but one, which was a draw.

“I saw a good Toro at San Siro though, I’d say the team is very compact and [Coach Walter] Mazzarri is very determined, so we’ll see.”

Cairo was then asked if Torino could be the first team to beat Juve in Serie A this season.

“I think we’ll leave it there…”
