Torino defender Lyanco is all set for a permanent transfer to Southampton at a cost of €7.5m plus add-ons and bonuses.

The centre-back is not part of coach Ivan Juric’s plans and has been training separately from the squad all summer.

He had been close to Real Betis, but they opted for Fiorentina captain German Pezzella instead after failing to agree a fee with Toro.

According to Sky Sport Italia transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, the deal is now done with Southampton.

Torino are set to receive €7.5m, plus up to another €2.5m in various add-ons.

The Brazilian will fly out this weekend for his medical and sign the contract with the Saints until June 2025.

He had joined Torino from Sao Paolo in 2017 for €7m and spent six months on loan at Bologna in 2019.

Last season, he scored one goal in 25 competitive appearances for the Granata between Serie A and the Coppa Italia.
