Torino are in negotiations to bring Watford midfielder Roberto Pereyra back to Serie A for around €20m.
According to Tuttomercatoweb, the talks have been going for some time and the original €30m asking price has been lowered significantly.
However, Toro want to get it even lower than €22m and continue to whittle down the details.
The 27-year-old Argentine spent most of his career in Italy at Udinese and Juventus, moving to Watford for €13m plus bonuses in 2016.
