Torino are moving closer to agreeing a deal with Atalanta for the transfer of striker Duvan Zapata according to reports from Sky Sport Italia on Tuesday afternoon.

According to Sky’s claims, also confirmed by the likes of Gianluca Di Marzio and Calciomercato.com, Zapata has already given his personal approval to Torino as his next destination.

The 32-year-old had recently been subject of interest from Roma, who were willing to spend somewhere in the region of €10m including add-ons, but that move never went through.

Instead, it is Ivan Juric who may be able to lure the Colombian away from Bergamo.

However, Zapata is not the only player who could move between the two clubs before the end of the transfer window.

Sky also reports that Torino would also like to bring in Brandon Soppy as a potential replacement for Wilfried Stephane Singo, who joined AS Monaco earlier this summer.

Moving in the other direction could be Alessandro Buongiorno, who is fondly admired by Gian Piero Gasperini. The Atalanta coach would like to bring in some defensive reinforcements to steady his side heading into the new campaign.
