Romelu Lukaku has now landed in Italy ahead of his move to Roma from Chelsea and is expected to conduct his medical and contract signing with the Giallorossi on Wednesday.

Large crowds of supporters gathered on the tarmac of the capital’s Ciampino airport over the course of the afternoon, hopeful of catching a glimpse of Roma’s latest summer signing.

Lukaku touched down in Dan Friedkin’s private jet just after 17.00 UK time, before stepping out and waving to those who had turned out to welcome him back to Italy.

It is believed that Roma will pay parent club Chelsea a loan fee of €5.8m to bring Lukaku on board for the 2023-24 season.

  1. I remember the gesture he did here also for Chelsea, Man Utd and Inter. He realy loves these clubs so he couldn’t find a better downward step the. The team that forced 3 other teams to merge in AS roma.

  2. Once a Snake always a snake. Welcome to. Sansiro in two months you will get the reception you deserve 🙂

  3. Romanisti have no idea what kind of person they’re dealing with, in less than a year or worse 6 months, they’ll want him out.
