“It will certainly be an intense match,” Tonali told Milan TV.
“We worked hard during the week, analysing the errors we made in recent matches and trying to learn from them. We realise this can never be a game like the others, we need to bring home the victory.”
The Rossoneri won the Scudetto last season and therefore go into this campaign feeling perhaps more confident than their city rivals, having pipped them to the post.
“I think the derby tends to be decided by incidents and maintaining concentration for the whole match. That was fundamental last season, it just takes one moment to change the game.”
