President Giampietro Manenti claims the payments to save Parma have already gone through, but blames the ‘time frame’.

The new patron announced earlier today that the deal to pay the club's outstanding salaries was imminent, in a move that would prevent the players from serving notice to the club.

Upon exiting from the Parma base in Colecchio, the President was heard answering ‘yes’ to those who asked him whether the payments had finally been made, according to SportMediaset.

But pending an official statement by the club, the President qualified his statement by suggesting there may be other delays.

“The problem is the time frame, but we are working and I'm confident,” he said, as reported by the same outlet.
