Roma director Tiago Pinto admits they ‘cannot be happy’ with the Derby della Capitale defeat to Lazio, so must ‘take it out’ on Sassuolo this evening.
It kicks off at the Mapei Stadium at 17.30 GMT.
This is the first outing for the Giallorossi since their surprise 1-0 loss to arch rivals Lazio on Sunday and Jose Mourinho has rotated the squad, dropping Tammy Abraham and Andrea Belotti for Eldor Shomurodov.
“A team with ambition like ours cannot be happy after that defeat,” Tiago Pinto told DAZN.
“The last two days have been painful, but the only good thing about this fixture list is that we don’t have time to fall into depression.
“We must take out our anger and irritation on the next game against Sassuolo.”
