Napoli have three major doubts ahead of their visit to Udinese in Serie A on Monday evening, including the league’s 2022-23 MVP Khvicha Kvaratshelia, whose chances of featuring are increasingly slim.

The Georgian has been struggling with a thigh issue over the course of this week, and trained individually in the gym on Friday. Reports from TMW on Sunday morning claim that his chances of playing on Monday are “close to zero”.

Concerningly for the Partenopei, Matteo Politano is also a doubt for the Udinese game. He carried out a personalised programme during the most recent training session.

It is a similar situation for centre-back Juan Jesus, who could be replaced by compatriot Natan if he is deemed unavailable for Monday.

If both Kvaratskhelia and Politano become ruled out for the Udinese game, then there could be an opportunity for summer signing Jesper Lindstrom on the Napoli flank according to Sunday’s reports.
