Erick Thohir is expected to discuss Inter’s current sporting crisis when meeting with CEO Michael Bolingbroke and director general Marco Fassone.

The Nerazzurri are under scrutiny for entering the October international break sat in 10th place in the League after consecutive defeats to Cagliari and Fiorentina.

Rumours since the weekend have been that a meeting set in London already between the club President and owner and his CEO and director general would be used as an opportunity to review the situation.

Whilst Thohir has since commented on his continued faith in Walter Mazzarri as Coach, the Gazzetta dello Sport reiterate that today he is meeting with Bolingbroke and Fassone and will be assessing the club’s current issues.

The Gazzetta and the Corriere dello Sport both believe that Inter’s strategy will be to continue to support Mazzarri publicly and privately.

It is also suggested, though, that where Inter will not be obligated to defeat Napoli in Week 7, the club will look for signs of recovery all the same.
