New Inter owner Erick Thohir touched down at Milan’s Malpensa airport on Thursday ahead of three days of talks.

The Indonesian businessman has agreed to buy a 70 per cent stake in the club from Massimo Moratti, a sale which will be ratified in Friday’s board meeting.

“I’m happy to be here,” Thohir stated. “I’ll now meet with Moratti and then I’ll speak in a Press conference.”

Thohir has been accompanied on his trip to Italy’s fashion capital with colleagues Rosan Roeslani and Handy Soetedjo.

As in his previous visit to the country, journalists outside of his hotel in Milan have been offered coffee and cake.

Thohir is also expected to visit Appiano Gentile, the club’s training complex, at some stage on Thursday where he will meet boss Walter Mazzarri and technical director Marco Branca.
