Cristiano Ronaldo’s agent Jorge Mendes is in talks with Manchester City, but the deal is complicated as the Premier League giants must meet three conditions to sign CR7.

Ronaldo sees his Juventus contract expire in June 2022 but is pushing to leave the Bianconeri in the current summer transfer window, although Juventus insist he never told the club he wants to leave.

Sky Sport Italia reports Manchester City are the only club interested in signing CR7, but the Premier League champions are running out of time to finalise the deal.

The summer transfer window shuts on August 31, but that’s not the only thing that makes the deal complicated.

The Italian broadcasters report that the Citizens don’t want to pay Juventus to sign Ronaldo, while the Old Lady needs €25-30m to avoid a capital loss.

As an alternative, they would be open to including Gabriel Jesus in a swap deal, but Manchester City don’t want to sell the Brazilian striker.

However, Pep Guardiola’s side must sell one striker if they are to welcome Ronaldo and, according to the report, Raheem Sterling could be the one on his way out of the Etihad Stadium, but, once again, Manchester City don’t have much time to sell the England winger.

Ronaldo joined Juventus for €112m from Real Madrid in 2018 and has scored 101 goals in 134 appearances with the Bianconeri.

  1. Ronaldo can’t play in Pep’s system and if he really wants to leave Juve and goes to PSG .. exchange him with Keylor Navas + Cash (sadly Donnarumma is lost cause) and get Belotti (he’ll get better service at Juve than at Torino and score a lot .. and is a very hard working team player) for now .. try Haaland next season or else get Icardi. Also get another player for MF and LB or keep Pellegrini. And so many clubs were looking for GK at the start of the transfer window .. Szczesny should have been loaned ….
