Carlos Tevez is seen as almost certain to make his return to the Argentina national team, after three years away.

The Juventus striker has been out of contention for the Albiceleste since the tail-end of 2011, after falling out of the favour of Coach Alejandro Sabella.

However, on from Gerardo Martino replacing him in the summer and hinting that the doors to all players are open, indications are that Tevez is in line for a return.

Whilst the news is not yet official, outlets in Italy including Mediaset are suggesting that the 30-year-old is on Martino’s provisional squad list of 35 players for Argentina’s matches with Brazil and Hong Kong in October.

The former Barcelona Coach is set to whittle this selection down to a more manageable 22-25 players by the end of this week.
