Galatasaray manager Fatih Terim has told Wesley Sneijder he “must see us as a first choice” after the Inter star stalled on a decision.

The Dutchman was in the stands for last night’s game against Pescara and spoke to Sky Sport Italia.

“It is a big decision I have to take, so I don’t think it will be made by Monday,” said Sneijder.

“There are still two weeks to go before the end of the transfer window, so there is time. I am relaxed and I’m considering my options.”

It is reported he is stalling in the hope Liverpool or another Premier League club will come in with an offer, but Terim is irritated by this attitude.

“If Sneijder wants to come to Galatasaray, then he must see us as a first choice,” declared the Coach.

“This club is not anyone’s plaything. Those who play here do not see Galatasaray as an alternative, but as a first choice. Otherwise, one must step aside.”

There are also reports in the Italian media that Inter are particularly eager to send Sneijder to Turkey.

As part of their agreement with Galatasaray, the Nerazzurri would have to pay a €5m penalty if Sneijder signed for a different club over the January transfer window.
