Tension is sky high at Genoa after the defeat to Napoli, as fans aimed a vicious banner at President Enrico Preziosi and Coach Ivan Juric raged at reporters.

The Grifone had been leading 1-0 at Marassi last night, but were overturned by Fabian Ruiz and a Davide Biraschi own goal after a break in play due to rain.

Ultras had warned they would protest the President during the game and they certainly did that with a banner that was vaguely threatening.

Ultras had warned they would protest the President during the game and they certainly did that with a banner that was vaguely threatening.

It read: ‘Preziosi, one day you will die… but Genoa never will.’

He was criticised for firing popular tactician Davide Ballardini to bring back Juric – a man Preziosi already sacked twice before – and the results have certainly not improved.

In the post-match Press conference, Juric was asked whether he had already spoken to President Preziosi and the response was furious.

“What the **** kind of a question is that? Don’t ask me that, do you think I’ve got time to worry about that? Stop ****ing me off, ask that **** to someone else.”

There are reports Juric could be axed in favour of Davide Nicola, Cesare Prandelli or Claudio Ranieri.
