Alex Telles is “very happy in Italy” but his future is down to Inter and Galatasaray.

The Brazilian full-back joined the Nerazzurri on loan this summer, with an option to buy inserted into the deal.

However, if the Beneamata don’t qualify for the Champions League they are likely to have less money to spend, throwing a permanent deal into doubt.

“I think I’m doing a good job here, but we know the decision is up to Inter,” Telles explained to Goal.

“Of course Galatasaray’s will counts too, and I’ll do my part. If I get to stay I’d definitely like that.

“I’m very happy in Italy, I love Serie A and my family feel the same as they did in Turkey. I’m calm, I’ll let the teams agree what’s best.

“I’ll accept whatever they decide, I have a contract with Galatasaray and I’m playing for Inter. I have my aspirations, but all parties have to decide together what’s best for me and the two clubs.”
