English referee Anthony Taylor has been assigned to Lazio’s Europa League clash with Sevilla on Wednesday.

The first leg ended 1-0 to the Spaniards at the Stadio Olimpico last Thursday.

The decider in the Round of 32 will be at the Sanchez-Pizjuan on February 20 at 17.00 GMT.

Taylor will officiate with assistance from Gary Beswick and Adam Nunn.

The VAR booth contains Stuart Attwell and Martin Atkinson, while Lou Betts is the fourth official.

Taylor is 40 years old and this season officiated Roma’s Champions League 2-1 defeat to Viktoria Plzen in December, where he sent off Luca Pellegrini.

This will be his first game with Lazio, but his record with Italian teams at club and international level is of two wins, one draw and three defeats.

His only previous match involving Sevilla was a 0-0 Europa League draw away to FC Basel in March 2016, which saw Steven Nzonzi sent off.

With Spanish sides overall, Taylor officiated three wins, three draws and two defeats.
