The Suning Group bought of the majority share in the Nerazzurri earlier this summer, while Sino-Europe Sports has a preliminary agreement to buy their city rivals.

“I think these are strange situations,” Tavecchio said outside Café della Versiliana, in Marina di Pietrasanta.

“These aren’t realities with huge economic value, these are interests that depend a lot on television rights and foreign markets.

“Then if China has the intention to host the World Cup in 2030 it means they’ll invest in European football.”
