FIGC President Carlo Tavecchio promises Rome will prove itself “an efficient capital” in holding Euro 2020 matches.

The Italian capital will host Group Stage matches and a Quarter-Final, with the Final and Semi-Finals to be played at London’s Wembley Stadium.

“From today we start working toward the next Euros, which will celebrate 60 years of UEFA,” Tavecchio said at the official unveiling of Italy’s portion of the tournament.

“Rome will be one of the protagonists for this tournament, and that represents great recognition of our high capacity for organisation.

“We’ve already shown what we can do with the male and female Champions League finals, now we’ll see that Rome is an efficient capital.”
