FIGC President Carlo Tavecchio insists there’s “nothing new” on Antonio Conte’s future, despite persistent Chelsea links.

The Blues are believed to have opened talks with the Italy CT, with a view to appointing him after this summer’s European Championships.

Guus Hiddink is currently in a caretaker role on the Stamford Bridge bench, after Jose Mourinho was dismissed earlier in the season.

“There is nothing new on the future of Conte,” Tavecchio told reports outside a meeting of the Lega Calcio.

“The rumours? They change nothing for us.”

Conte guided Juventus from seventh in Serie A to three consecutive Scudetti – including an unbeaten season and a record points total – before leaving to take over the Azzurri in 2014.
