FIGC President Carlo Tavecchio insists France should still host the European Championships after terror attacks in Paris.

Over 100 people were killed in co-ordinated attacks in the French capital on Friday, with bombs going off at the Stade de France during a friendly between Les Bleus and Germany.

“The Euros should be played in France,” Tavecchio told reporters at the Facchetti award which was presented to Roberto Donadoni.

“The Euros should be played in France,” Tavecchio told reporters at the Facchetti award which was presented to Roberto Donadoni.

“It would be a big mistake to change the host. We mustn’t stop, it’s a serious attack, but we have to stay calm and do what we’d planned.

“We’ll all go to France, we won’t stop.”
