Igli Tare admits Lazio must ‘solve some problems’ before signing new players this summer.

The Biancocelesti have appointed Maurizio Sarri to replace Simone Inzaghi as their head coach.

The former Chelsea and Juventus boss signed a three-year contract with the Biancocelesti and is waiting for the club to make the first summer signings.

“We are working to solve a few problems we already had in the past. After that, we’ll strengthen the team depending on the needs,” Lazio’s sporting director Igli Tare said during a press conference held to present their pre-season.

According to Tuttomercatoweb, Tare refers to Lazio’s liquidity index that will force Lazio to balance sales and new signings.

“We still don’t know if we’ll unveil Sarri in Rome or at Auronzo di Cadore,” the Lazio sporting director added.
