Saphir Taider has admitted that he is frustrated for a recent lack of first team action at Inter, but says he is just focused on working to regain his spot.
Talking to local media ahead of meeting up with the Algeria squad for their midweek friendly with Slovenia, the 22-year-old considered his recent fall from favour under Walter Mazzarri.
“It’s a strange time. This is the first time this season that I have remained on the sidelines for a few games without playing,” reflected Taider.

“It’s a strange time. This is the first time this season that I have remained on the sidelines for a few games without playing,” reflected Taider.
“It’s a situation that I have to accept, that is the price you pay when you play in a big European club.
“Yes, it bothers me, when you are ambitious you always want to play every game to the 90th minute.
“Having said that, I do not feel the pressure and I only have to work to regain my place in the team.
“Is my place at the World Cup at risk? I’m in Milan to work and to progress. I am immensely proud to be able to grow at a club like Inter and I am convinced that I am improving day by day.”
