Roma goalkeeper Wojciech Szczesny “wishes” he knew what his future held but “trusts” Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger to make the right decision.

Szczesny has spent the last two seasons with Roma, but their loan arrangement for the Arsenal-owned custodian expires this summer and a permanent transfer has yet to be negotiated.

“I immediately felt confident once Spalletti arrived. I learned a lot from him, especially in playing from the back,” he told Sky Sport Italia.

“My future? I wish I knew myself. My future is in the hands of Arsene Wenger, the man that’ve I trusted since I was 16 years old.

“The decision is entirely up to him. I’m happy to be fought over by two big clubs like Arsenal and Roma.”
