Milan winger Suso admits “there were contacts with Atletico Madrid”, and that he could have returned to Spain in each of the past two summers.

There is a €38m release clause in his contract which is valid for foreign clubs in the first two weeks of July, and he’s been linked with Real Madrid.

“It’s true, there were contacts with Atletico Madrid,” Suso told Radio Es.
“In the last two summers I’ve had options to return to Spain.”
