Sudtirol talent Amney Moutassime has reportedly been released from the Serie B club after stealing his teammate’s car and going on a high-speed police chase.

A report from TGR RAI Alto Adige via TMW details how the 19-year-old Italian winger, who joined Sudtirol’s Primavera squad in the summer of 2022, stole the car of one of his teammates with the help of two of his friends. A police chase with speeds up to 100 km/h quickly followed through the streets of Sudtirol.

Moutassime was eventually stopped by authorities and arrested, being found without a driving license. He has since been released from Sudtirol and will now face criminal charges for the act, which comes as a shock considering that he recently broke into the first team, making two Serie B appearances over the last six weeks.

The 19-year-old Italian winger, who scored three goals and provided one assist for Sudtirol’s Primavera squad, started his career at FC Carpi before joining Freiburg in 2018, where he spent four years before heading to the South Tyrol city.
