“We just sat there and watched them for the first 10 minutes and didn’t show enough determination. It’s difficult to comment after a result like this, as when it was 2-1 we went close to an equaliser,” he told Sky Sport Italia.
Stroppa was sent off for dissent in the second half after a Simone Padoin challenge on Vladimir Weiss.
“I was told that I had protested too clearly, but I just said it was a foul and did not offend anybody.
“At times tonight we showed that this team is alive, without doubt. We need more grit, although it’s tough to stand up to a Juventus in this form and we struggled to get anywhere near them.”
Fans naturally protested at the Stadio Adriatico, as Pescara have lost seven of their 12 games.
“I speak daily with director Delli Carri and have taken my share of the responsibility for the fact this team is lacking a clear identity, but we have made steps forward, apart from tonight.
“It’s a shame we conceded six goals, because it does hurt, but in the first half we reacted strongly and created chances even when we already seemed to be done for. There are some positives.”
