Kevin Strootman is expected to make his first start of the season when Roma visit Genoa this evening.

The Dutch international has missed most of the last two seasons with a series of knee injuries, and has played just 13 minutes for the Giallorossi this season.

However, Sky, RomaNews and Pagine Romaniste report that Strootman will be handed a start tonight, as Luciano Spalletti’s side look to narrow the gap to Napoli in second.
