Roma midfielder Kevin Strootman could miss the Milan and Juventus games after his actions in the Derby della Capitale.

The Dutchman threw water into the face of Danilo Cataldi, then collapsed on the floor when the Lazio substitute grabbed his shirt.

Now Leggo is reporting that the FIGC has requested video evidence to determine whether Strootman should be banned for his part in the incident.

Referee Luca Banti did book the Giallorossi player, but it’s not clear whether it was for the water throwing or simply for excessive celebration.

If it’s the latter, then the FIGC and Lega Serie A are free to slap Strootman with a longer ban.

If confirmed, the suspension would likely run for two or three weeks, meaning Strootman would miss both the Milan and Juventus games.
